With two hundred and thirteen illustrations. Henry G. Greenish was Professor of Materia Medica and Pharmacy to the Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. Size: 24cm x 17cm. xxi + 511 + 14. Rebound in green half leather with gold finishing to spine and new endpapers. Light foxing throughout. Minor dampstaining to fore-edge of front section only. Previous owner's inscription, lavish, in ink to front flyleaf, by Stiles W. G. Rich stating this book was given to him by the author in 1903 (presumably at, or after, the 1903 British Pharmaceutical Conference, to which Greenish was on the Executive Committee, and Stiles an Honorary Colonial Secretary). Text contains minor underlining in pencil. Shipped Weight: 1.3 kilos.
